FREQUENTLY ASKED

Questions about outsourcing your accounting?

Here are the practical points clients usually want to understand before getting started.

01 Can Iqbal Consulting manage our complete accounting function?

Yes. The service can be structured as fully outsourced accounting—from transaction recording and reconciliations through month-end close and management reporting—or as co-sourced support alongside your internal finance team.

02 Can you take over books that are behind or need correction?

Yes. A catch-up and clean-up engagement can reconcile historical periods, investigate suspense and aged balances, validate opening balances and establish a controlled close process before moving into recurring support.

03 Do you support multi-country businesses?

Yes. Iqbal Consulting can support businesses operating across Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain with a consistent group reporting approach while maintaining country-specific ledgers and compliance-support schedules.

04 Which accounting systems can you work with?

We can work with a client’s existing cloud or ERP environment, subject to access and system suitability. At onboarding, we agree the chart of accounts, data flow, approvals, document storage and reporting outputs.

05 Will our books be ready for external audit?

Our recurring process is designed to maintain reconciled balances and organized supporting schedules. At year-end, we can prepare audit schedules, respond to accounting queries and coordinate the flow of information to the external auditor.

06 Do you also prepare VAT and tax-related accounting schedules?

Yes. We can maintain and reconcile underlying accounting data and prepare supporting schedules for relevant VAT, withholding, zakat or tax processes. The exact filing or advisory scope is agreed separately based on the country and engagement.

07 How frequently will we receive reports?

Monthly reporting is the normal choice for an outsourced finance function, but weekly operational reporting and quarterly or annual packages can also be agreed based on management needs.

08 How is the scope and fee determined?

Pricing is tailored to transaction volume, number of entities and bank accounts, payroll size, system complexity, reporting frequency, historic clean-up needs and the level of compliance support required.
