Frequently asked questions

Corporate services, made clearer.

Every corporate action depends on entity type, activity, ownership and the authority route. These answers set the practical starting point.

Can Iqbal Consulting support company formation in all three countries?

Yes. We can support and coordinate the incorporation process in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, subject to the chosen activity, ownership structure, eligibility and authority requirements. Where a step must legally be completed by a licensed lawyer, notary, company secretary, liquidator or other regulated professional, we coordinate that dependency rather than implying that Iqbal Consulting itself performs the regulated function.

Which legal entity type should we choose?

The answer depends on shareholders, liability, governance, capital, activity, foreign ownership, tax considerations and future plans. We can prepare a practical structure comparison and coordinate tax/legal input where that advice is separately required.

Can a foreign investor own 100% of the company?

Foreign ownership is country-, activity- and sector-dependent. Pakistan has a generally open investment regime subject to restricted sectors and sector rules. Saudi foreign investors must follow the applicable MISA investment-registration and activity framework. Bahrain permits significant foreign ownership across many activities, but ownership availability and approvals can still depend on the specific activity.

Do you handle ongoing annual corporate compliance?

Yes. A retainer can cover a tailored corporate calendar, recurring statutory/registry filings, annual confirmations or renewals where applicable, standard corporate resolutions, changes in corporate particulars and maintenance support for records and registers.

Can you help with share transfers, capital changes or new partners?

Yes. We can coordinate the corporate documentation, resolutions, authority filings and sequencing for ownership and capital changes. Legal documents, notarisation, valuations, tax advice or regulatory approvals may need separate specialist involvement depending on the transaction.

Do corporate services include legal advice?

No. Corporate administrative and compliance support is not a substitute for legal advice. Where interpretation of law, legal drafting, representation, notarisation or another reserved activity is required, the scope should include or coordinate an appropriately authorised professional.

How long does incorporation or a corporate change take?

Timing varies with the country, activity, entity type, foreign ownership, document readiness, signatures, translations/attestation, third-party approvals and authority processing. We establish the expected sequence and track dependencies, but do not guarantee government approval timelines.

Can corporate services be combined with accounting, tax or advisory support?

Yes. Where separately scoped, Iqbal Consulting can coordinate corporate actions with accounting setup, tax registrations/compliance and broader financial or business advisory so management sees the implications across workstreams.
